Requiem

I love Halo 4! My PC can't run it, but atleast I can celebrate the release of the game on PC with this painting. One of the most memorable moments I have with Halo is when leaving the Forward Unto Dawn crash and emerging from the surface of Requiem and seeing the gigantic forerunner spires extending all up to the sky with the music turning up. It is beautiful.

This is my first time I used a 3D base to construct the image, My main reference was the lighting and the positioning of the Forerunner spires, then I tried my best to paint over everything to get rid of the ugly 3D look.
